This page is used for ideas of where to go next. It is updated to mention and discuss possible future trips. Leave a comment to suggest a place that we should try, or to invite yourself on our next trip. See here for a list of outings that I’ve been on recently but still need to write a report about.

Vaaldam weekend boat trip

Vaaldam, Gauteng/Freestate

  • Will row about 15km per day to the next stop.

Hikes
Suggestions for a hiking trips are always welcome. Group size about 8-16 people, distance about 8-16km a day. Let me know what you have in mind.

  • Broodboom Hike, Mpumalanga (2008-08-29 to 2008-08-31)
  • Tswaing Crater, Pretoria
  • Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve, Heidelberg

Resorts
One day trips are cool. Tented accommodation is cooler!  The only policy is: If we have even one car full of people, we go!

  • Valley of the Waves, Lost City
  • Klein Kariba Holiday Resort, Nylstroom

Paintball Legion: Next eventExtreme

  • Gold Reef City Theme Park
  • Go-Karts at Kayalami/Princess Crossing (2008-08-31)
  • Monthly Paintball at Paintball-Legion
  • Power Kite Flying – anywhere with wind
  • Sailing Hobie-16’s on Sterkfontein Dam
  • River rafting down big river ‘X’ in my new boat

Disclaimer: As this is just a scratch pad for ideas, and many trips might happen as a result of spur of the moment impulsiveness, this cannot ever be complete, up to date or accurate. Don’t blame me if you missed out because it wasn’t on here. Participate, and you will be kept up to date :-) More information…

    Hallo dude,

Ek was die naweek by 22 Watervalle buite Porterville. Daar is oral lekker poele by die watervalle waar mens kan swem as jy so bietjie warm kry.

    Hi Thinus!

Hier’s die name van die staproetes:

    - Elephant Gorge naby Witbank

Ja, lyk my my enigste beskikbare naweek is 5-7 Okt. Hoop dit pas hjulle ook. Lekker dag!
